Launched on 7/7/07, the Give Bank™ is a response to a number of designers and creatives, especially individuals and non-professionals looking for a viable place to give back for the public good -- pro bono -- to get involved in outside projects of interest, and to make a significant difference in the world.

Vision

The Designer Give Bank™ shares the vision of Designfluence to provide resources for developing designers worldwide, and is the main artery for mentorship within that vision.

Mission

Mentoring developing designers worldwide.

Goals

The initial goal is one million hours of pledged service. The secondary goal is to employ ten thousand of those hours in active service around the globe.

Consequences

The effects of active pro bono design service are good will, relationship and community building, leadership training, and the creation of beneficial products that might not otherwise be produced... in short, peace and harmony.
